Welcome to Staffordshire University Ladies Hockey official website , on here you will find all the information you need to know with regards to the teams, our leagues, fixtures, socials, committee and much more.
Staffordshire University Ladies Hockey Club is one of the biggest and longest established teams at Staffordshire University. We have two teams of mixed ability who compete weekley on a wednesday in the BUCS league, Midlands Conference. Our members span from freshers to final years, we are not only a club but we all have strong friendships and socialise outside of club meetings regularly, this strong social side to the club won us the union's Club of the Year Award 06/07 and were contenders for the award in all past years, as well as that we also won the Website of the Year 09/10 Award for this informative website! So read up and digest all the information which will be updated weekly!
We offer weekly social nights, which brings the teams together on a weekly basis not just as team mates but as friends. In addition to this we offer two tours, one social tour usually abroad and one competitive tour at Bournemouth which allows the team to compete against other clubs from across the country. The 09/10 tour saw the girls visit and enjoy the sights and sounds of Copenhagen.
